Telephone, Data and Facsimile
SAS provides the infrastructure to allow for telephone, data and facsimile transmission in central facility buildings and accommodation rooms. Depending upon the customer's requirements, these systems utilize either traditional copper wiring or the latest in fibre optics, which allows for "future proofing" the communications needs of a remote site given the requirements of enhanced technology moving into the next 10 to 20 years. SAS also has partners that provide the bandwidth necessary to drive the above systems.
For communications back to head office a contended VSAT system is available as well as SCPC if a dedicatedchannel is warranted.
BGAN is also widely used for transmission of data and large files.
